Changes to my study programme

Hello there!! Today I will write about some changes that could be made to my study programme, in my second year of dentistry I have 6 subjects, 5 of them are mostly theoreical, but the last is theoretical and practical, this subject is called “Simulación para el ejercicio profesional I”, unfortunately because of pandemic we had a few practices, no more than 4, I hope in the future we can be able to go with normality to class because dentistry is a career that requires a lot of practice to be able to perform good procedures.

I would't make changes in this curriculum because we have scientific branches, but we also have research branches to expand our knowledge by our own and humanistic branches that help us understand more about the environment of our future patients and our goals as students of health, professional ethics, etc., which is quite complete.

About the workload, I think the subject called “Bases Científicas y Clínicas para el diagnóstico I” its very demanding, this is understandable, because we study a health career, but if the tests were with less content and not 20 classes for a single test, we could better integrate the knowledge. The lenght of study is always almost all day, due to work, watching classes, studying, it is difficult to control that, so I try as much as possible to organize myself well to have a break time on the weekend.

Personally, I don’t like online clases, I have always preferred face to face contact with people, its more fun and you feel in company. Despite this, in general teachers have made an effort, occupied the technology in the best way, making dynamic presentations, even with memes or cartoons that make you smile and replacing some previous teaching methods so that we can understand better, what I would change from this, is to have less prerecorded classes because it encourages me to watch the class either in the morning or at another time, feeling that responsibility, and not accumulate some classes as it has happened to me before, also with this way you can interact more with the teachers and classmates.

And what about you? What changes would you make in your study programme?
